INDIRAM is a premium, silica-free ramming mass formulated for induction melting furnaces. Its dense, low-porosity structure minimizes slag penetration and metal infiltration, reducing downtime and relinings.

Installation Guide (Ramming)

  1. Dry the shell and coil area; ensure clean and moisture-free surfaces.
  2. Place former and ram INDIRAM in 50–75 mm lifts using a pneumatic rammer.
  3. Maintain uniform compaction around the coil for reliable sintering.
  4. Demould carefully and inspect lining before bake-out.

Heat-Up / Sintering

  1. 110 °C for 6 h → 300 °C for 4 h → 600 °C for 4 h.
  2. Controlled ramp to operating temperature; avoid thermal shocks.
  3. Hold at target temperature to form a strong sintered layer.
