Installation Guide (Ramming)
- Dry the shell and coil area; ensure clean and moisture-free surfaces.
- Place former and ram INDIRAM in 50–75 mm lifts using a pneumatic rammer.
- Maintain uniform compaction around the coil for reliable sintering.
- Demould carefully and inspect lining before bake-out.
Heat-Up / Sintering
- 110 °C for 6 h → 300 °C for 4 h → 600 °C for 4 h.
- Controlled ramp to operating temperature; avoid thermal shocks.
- Hold at target temperature to form a strong sintered layer.
Available Grades
INDIRAM Standard — General Foundry
Balanced grain distribution for reliable sintering and everyday melting operations.
- Recommended for medium-frequency induction furnaces
- Optimized for carbon and alloy steels
INDIRAM HD — High-Duty Campaigns
Higher density mix for demanding cycles and longer campaigns.
- Lower apparent porosity for better slag resistance
- Suitable for larger crucibles and higher power densities
INDIRAM NF — Non-Ferrous
Tailored chemistry to reduce reactions with Cu/Al melts.
- Minimizes chemical pickup and metal contamination
- Consistent surface finish and demoulding
